1lb a week is a pretty decent goal. If that what you had it set to anything under that would mean you would lose a bit more.

2, 30 minute runs today with 30 minutes of boxing heavy bag work in the middle, boring ass chicken GRILLING and brown rice boiling and a marriage on the rocks thanks to the excessive amount of pissing and moaning I've done regarding the work out; oscillating wildly from smug self aggrandising "this really is the way to go, y'know mrs Spock"  to "Fuck this shit it's not worth it, let's get a fucking midweek take out and get pissed now and die young, happy and fat as fuck".

Can you not jazz up that chicken and rice a bit?
Why is flavour not allowed in these things? Surely some paprika, a bit of garlic rubbed in and some lemon juice isn't going to be the end of the world.

Nothing wrong with that at all, the lemon juice will actually help the digestion.
I will have to check this app out to see what its about but it sounds interesting.

This does in fact work. I only eat dinner from 5 or 6 at night now.

That myfitness app is pretty decent; I used it quite a bit last year when slimming down for my brother's wedding. Limited myself to 1200 calories a day and the first couple of weeks of using it was a pain. But after 2 weeks routine a load of the food I was regularly tucking into was now saved into my previous history so didn't have to keep typing new dishes/items in. What it's really good at is basic food education and understanding calories. When you find out that a coffee and a muffin is 800-900 calories you re-evaluate what you're eating somewhat. At the end of each day or week it gives you a nutritional breakdown of what you've eaten and informs you as to whether you're over/under in any areas. Found this pretty useful as well. Also, it cajoled me into doing more running/exercise as it then adds the calories burned to your allowance. So, I ended up on about 1700 calories a day on exercise days. Never really felt hungry. 

As an aside, I've been eating Glorious soup over the last few weeks and only found out that it's about 300 calories for a whole tub and is nicer than the bulk of the New Covent Garden offerings. Neither come close to the Yorkshire Soup Company though, although no idea where you get that from other than Waitrose. I tend to chop up a carrot and add some kale, peas and sweetcorn to the mix and keeps me full all day. This one's really good and 240 cals for the tub.
