Welcome to fat fighters.. 2020 .. Double Digits..
  • I fit into my 30” trousers quite easily the other day. Well pleased with that.

On holiday now so some of the recent work will be undone but will be back into as soon as I return.

Heh.  I've just got  into 38" trousers. Close to getting into 36" and if I manage that I'll be delighted.

Heh....Given I am still North of 17st I suspect one of my legs would weigh that.   :)

  • Nice one davy! Keep going, you're killing it!

I think for me, since I'm not doing any weighing, it's been the dropping down through clothes sizes that has been a good 'incentive' for lack of a better word. I'm trying to get as much wear out of my old clothes where possible, although the things from peak fatness have had to go the charity shop a while ago, but it feels awesome when you have to go and get new stuff to either buy stuff in a smaller size than before, or just the certainty that if you go in a particular shop, you'll actually be able to find stuff in your size pretty easily.

And Davy K just keeps on trucking. Well done that man.
  • Bad day today. Snacks consisted of can of Red Bull, Magnum lolly, two slices of two different birthday cakes and a chocolate Krispy Kreme doughnut.

On the plus side, breakfast was 4 scrambled eggs with 2 whole meal toasts, and lunch and dinner was lots of greens and veg with a total of 4 chicken breast. And some brown rice.

My weight can vary by up to a couple of KG between morning and evening. You get heavier as the day progresses. If looking at weight accurately it's important to be consistent re time of day and kind of clothes you are wearing.

-1lb this week. Uneventful. Thought I had done better but no complaints.

  • It's all good Davy, the losses all add up over time over time, no matter how small!

I have a wedding to go to in a couple of weeks, need a new shirt and blazer as all mine are too big now. The expenditure is annoying but it feels good to be back in these waters.

Aye.  I dumped a pile of clothes last weekend. Most of my coats had to go and a pile of shirts and trousers too.

  • Feels good though right? I had a clear out in February of stuff that was too big for me now.

Oh yeah - and finding stuff at the back of the wardrobe that fits too - work shirts mostly so haven't aged appreciably and thus tolerably wearable - but great to get them on again.

People really noticing the difference in me now.

  • Have you tried my fitness pal? Very good if you’re interested in tracking your food intake. Used it for about a month, saw the impact of weekend boozing. Don’t booze as much at the weekend anymore, though that’s mainly because of children.

Christ, you've invented a meal between breakfast and brunch.

I only eat twice a day
  • 7 day average is 70kg. Not quite 1lb off but it’ll do. Think I’m under 13% bodyfat now so it’ll slow down unless I go into a bigger calorie deficit. Meh. I’ll do this for another few weeks then reassess.

Body measurements are encouraging. Waist and hips smaller. Need new jeans.

  • Went and did my jacket and shirt shopping for my friend's wedding yesterday, have dropped a jacket size since I had a to get a new suit last August for my little bro's wedding since I had slimmed out of my other ones lel. Slim fit as well as opposed to a regular cut for the bonus multiplier.

Also tried on some more jeans, man now fits in skinny jeans, this will be great for when my mid life crisis rolls around.
