Loving it so far, haven't had the time to do a full run through though. Seems snappier/tighter than their previous stuff and almost stripped back. Has come at a very prominent time too. Can see this becoming the soundtrack to the fucked up times in the States. -

Doing the whole Ghost-note thing led me to Chris Dave and the Drumheds.
As far as I can see, basically, there's a massive crossover/ecosystem with the go to session players of the last 10-20 years. From Neo-soul players to jazz etc. Snarky Puppy is the big band spawned of a bunch of players for big names, and there's crossover with a bunch of other cats. Robert Glasper is big for bringing names together, as evidenced by this vid below. Yasiin turns up for a set there. It's awesome.
