Finally fucking done that Trico then.
Obviously the medieval feverdream beasty is the bestest animated thing in a videogame ever, but it's a good thing too that the controls were as uh... analogue and fiddly as they were throughout, else I might have come to resent the absolute linearity of the whole, preposterously well-lit show.
Also lol the kid is so impossibly stong, agile and fearless it sort of confounds the pathos they were going for.
Better than Journey though. I was after non-trivial A-to-B 4 years ago (looking at early posts in here), and I did in fact at least get that. -

Started this last night.
Feels a bit janky and looks a bit like a previous gen game as expected.

Nice. I know they had funding from Kowloon and now Epic chipping in. Ueda at the helm. Game is in good hands.

Also, I would argue this pretty much guarantees the next Ueda game will be multiplat.

I completed it yesterday.
Last session was a joy, Trico was a good boy.
I'm very conflicted with it as a whole. The highs are spectacular, the lows are quite honestly heart-breakingly bad.オレノナハ エラー ダ
