My dad had as much hair at 50 as I do now.

I remember making a character of him in WWF Attitude, and we all laughed at his defining characteristic of a bald spot. I used to hate it when my fringe grew too long, whereupon its increasing weight would lower it to resemble a thatched roof. Fashionable these days, but short upright hair was the order back then.

No gel, though. I was never a youth presenter or a pop knob. I'd love to have those thatching issues now. Crockett, ya golden-haired sod!

My dad has all of his hair pretty much, and he's 60, which makes me think this is something to do with a deficiency maybe caused by something like 6 years of taking omeprazole, as it's kinda thinning all over not just on top. I haven't even got a receding hairline.

Can baldness be called an evolutionary disadvantage?

In the time before mankind started living longer thanks to our use of tools and fire to overcome environmental hazards did the average male live long enough to be affected by baldness as we experience it today?

I mean, obviously some dudes get bald hella early in life, but your average guy is in his 40's or older before they start losing their hair today. Did our ancestors back then make it to that age typically?

Baldness is no friend to the lazy man. Constant need for trimming to stop it looking wonky I'd have thought.

Science will conquer it in time but how much time eh.

I know someone that got hair plugs, or whatever it is Rooney got.

It actually looks totally normal, problem is he has no idea that having hair means you need it cut and perhaps some form of combing or styling.
