Hello.
This is a new thread for the purposes of getting new playlists of interesting, themed music. I volunteer to organise anything Spotify orientated and to keep threads saucy and fresh. If another soul could offer to provide a similar service via Dropbox or the like, that would surely be of help.
The floor is open for suggestions on starting themes.

But yeah to be serious The End is an interesting concept, get some dark, haunting stuff up in there. I'd give it a damn good listen.

Open to interpretation. I won't use it, but Tow the Line by Nick Drake has a brilliant sense of finality, lyrical, tonally and contextually. The very fact that it ends with him putting his guitar down, brr.

If we're doing The End, this song and the accompanying video get me every time. Defy anyone to watch it and not get a bit emotional. Watched it the day after my step-dad died and I was bawling.

If at all possible could the files be added to the dropbox account by whoever chooses the tracks? I assume most people will own digital copies of their own selections. I'll create a folder in there for dragging and dropping, and will attempt to re-tag the tracks into muggins' order when we're done. I've got a brick button phone, an 8yr old mp3 player and no internet access at my desk during the day. If there's no mp3 version I can't really join in as listening to mammoth playlists at home is a big fat no these days.
