Depends a bit, which one you got and with which game you want to use them with? Think you can find each Amiibo on the Nintendo site and see all the games they are compatible with.
They can be used on WiiU, 3DS and Switch, I got a Caliie and Marie and in Splatoon 2 they gave me clothing, songs for a minigame and the ability to save your gear loadout. I know I can use them in loads of other games but haven't tried them.
Here is a link to the Nintendo US site, that says which games R.O.B is compatible with, couldn't find the same thing on the UK site (just had a quick look). Think it's main use is in Smash WiiU.
Quite old news if you'd been paying attention, but I only just discovered them whilst bumbling around online. Two special gold and silver amiibo have been made for Monster Hunter Stories, and will be (were?) given away to winners of an MH competition. Which only ran in Japan, natch.
In short, if you're looking for a full set of amiibo, good luck getting hold of both of these.
For those with an open mind, wonders always await! - Kilton (monster enthusiast)
GAME have the Solaire amiibo available for their standard mark up price. £19.99. Always a good back up to have if you miss Amazon or Ninty store. Shopto site got battered with their £13.85.
This amiibo will sell quick, so if you are interested, I suggest getting on it now.
As a result of limited stock availability for amiibo Young Link (Nintendo Switch), we've reduced your order to 10 units and have cancelled any additional units placed for this item.
You will still receive 10 units of the amiibo Young Link (Nintendo Switch).
He could've just said they came from another planet but seems keen to convince people with his bullshit pseudoscience that he knows stuff. I wouldn't trust him with my lunch. - SG
My VR Labo order is due for delivery tomorrow. I know to some it'll be a clunky laugh a minute shit fest at Nintendo's lack of tech savvy but i'm looking forward to it. So yeah, boo to the haters, I'd spend more on lego for a similar time build.
