As mentioned in the other thread, I said I'd set up something specifically for the Mario World print I've been working on to keep tabs on progress etc. I've designed a print based on Super Mario World to commemorate it's 25th anniversary (November 21st 1990 in Japan). This is one of my all time favouite games and I've been meaning to do a project based on it for a long time.

The design is pretty much finished barring some very minor tweaks - I've tried to capture some of the things that stick out to me most about the game and make it unique - I've gone for the 4 'Super Famicom' colours + black - Seemed like an easy choice.:

I'll be doing 96 prints, and a limited number of postcard sets. In terms of the print I'm looking at a 500mm x 700mm print (IKEA and plenty of others do frames this exact size) with 5 colour silk screen. Paper is yet to be decided, and price will likely be a bit higher than my other prints owing to the amount of colour it's having (In screen printing a separate screen needs to be created for each colour, and these then need to be applied to each print individually, theoretically it takes a screen printer 5x the time and effort to do a 5 colour print than a single colour one.)

Aiming to get a couple of test prints done by the end of this month, and then looking to have them on sale in early October. As per usual I'll work out a deal for the folks here who are interested.
