This weekend (14th/15th November) myself a team of fellow martial artists are attempting to raise as much money as possible for Teenage Cancer Trust by staging a 24 long karate training marathon.
From 8am Saturday to 8am Sunday we are going to be running training drills, fitness sessions, sparring, kata and forms and all sorts of physically demanding fun to push our bodies and minds to breaking point.
If anyone would be kind enough to donate a few quid to a very worthy cause the link is here: https://www.justgiving.com/KickOutCancer24/?utm_source=Facebook&utm_medium=fundraisingpage&utm_content=KickOutCancer24&utm_campaign=pfp-share
Apologies about the messiness of the link text, im on my phone and rubbish at typing on here.
Anything you can do to help Teenage Cancer Trust would be greatly appreciated!
Sorry for the shameless request but I know you guys are a lovely bunch and would excuse me this.
Not everything is The Best or Shit. Theres many levels between that, lets just enjoy stuff.
do you promise you won't stop at all for 24 hours? not even for a sip of water or trip to the lav?
and you're doing the whole thing in a wookie costume? if so i might spare a few pennies!
Wow thanks chaps I knew I could rely on you lovely folks to help.
There are some allowances for toilet breaks and snacks and I'm actually driving straight to the gym after to teach a Boxercise and then a spin class back to back so my 24 hours is actually 26!

im aiming to set up a Ustream live feed and will post the link here as soon as it's ready so make sure you come watch, leave messages of support and donate if you can.
Wish me luck!

Where you holding it Wookie? I used to do judo at Tudor Grange, but it doesn't look like you are there from the webcam, but that was like 10 years ago, so maybe they got some new facilities.
"Let me tell you, when yung Rouj had his Senna and Mansell Scalextric, Frank was the goddamn Professor X of F1."
Well we did it! Massive thanks to everyone who donated and supported the cause, at last count the online totals were sitting at just over £2100 with plenty to be counted with the collection of our sponsorship forms over the next week or so.
It was exhausting beyond belief but knowing we raised so much money made it all worth it!
