Touchdowns, slam dunks, home runs and slap shots

Oh I doubt we're getting past the Raps if we see off Boston.

Mayber. But philly has given them more trouble than I thought they would and its taken near perfection from kawhi to get it to 2-2.

Given how Gianis has adjusted to Celtics defense and big Al, I can see him sussing raps too.

Bodes well for a competitive play off's going forward, regardless.

If warriors get past Houston it's gonna be a slog.

    Their bench looking real thin.

(although, if they beat Houston, quin cook and bogut become useful again against either Portland or Denver.)

Bucks potential to rest is big, but conference could be a slog. Warriors or rockets will have slogged, but then may make light work of conference.

    Interesting times.

I'm still great and you still love it.
  • Apart from kyrie's shot selection, which is always going to be flakey due to talent, but is very bad, his lack of effort on defense was noticeable and awful. And cost many obvious buckets, doubly bad when they came after aforementioned shots.

    Pretty disastrous.

  • Yeah that was a bit of drubbing. Ugly, but I'll take it. Toronto's going to be a pain.
  • Brogdon got perfect little run to come back.

Counaton (spelling be damned) has been awesome.

Middleton consistent. And bled has worked it out.

    Gonna be a good series.

He’s talented but not at the level where you build your championship team around him
Boston will do well to get rid in the summer

That serires is a fucking mystery right now. I'd still like to think Raptors will make it through, but it's not going to leave them in the best shape mentally.

Some anal-list I was listening to somewhere, reckons Embiid is playing through a very serious injury on painkillers, and suggests that could account for his saw-tooth form.

  • Quite possible.

Meanwhile, lolololol houston. I look forward to a full accounting of your home loss to the warriors minus KD, which included such 5 man line ups as Looney, Cook, Mckinney, Iggy and Klay.
I'm still great and you still love it.
  • I will lolololol too when the Knicks manage to fail to win him over.
  • Frank Vogel renting an airbnb for next season in LA.

  • Oh damn, Kidd as AC.

    Frank "Larry Drew" Vogel.

Omg... What a way to finish game 7!
I'm still surprised it took all 7 though.

  • Anyway I'm in Florida next week for reasons, will basically watch the lot. Would be fun to see the Blazers fuck on through.
  • Isn't east coast viewing of west coast games hella late?

Will you be ok going to bed after 2am?

I'm still great and you still love it.
  • Tell you what though, after watching all of both games, how rough must both Denver and philly be feeling. Both in strong positions at points.

    Missed opportunities.

Denver in particular, after that start.

Good chat with lowe and herring today actually though.

Iso vs team discussion in the clutch.

It's not black and white one way or the other.

Philly tried to run stuff down stretch and extra physicality and ball denial blew it up.

Warriors went full 5 out team ball for a lot do their game 6, but closed it out down the stretch with curry/green pick and roll with Iso. Less moving parts. In the right hands.

8th and 10th pick in a brass' field, after trading for possibly a generation talent in Doncic, feels a bit like a slap in the face. Still the hope of the Hawks attracting a seasoned free agent with the resource and buzz though.

  • Bless you, my near namesake.
  • Heh. Lowry shows up, and gets brooked.

That gym was cookin. Crowd was great.

    Good tempo game.

There'll be ebb and flow, but I'm more bullish for bucks after that game.

    The freak can be better.

    Portland are in trouble.

Who the hell knows what they were thinking with drop coverage on curry. I know kanter is a liability, but wide open curry threes is not what to give up.

The Warriors having both Durant and Curry on the roster is just damn unfair...
Durant's probably fine now, and just resting until they figure out Curry...

Which may or may not happen...

  • They did better on curry for most of game 2.

Third quarter there were a couple of slips. I boards will kill you too. They got a bunch of 3s off second chances.

In the middle of the run in the third they also lost curry and Thompson in transition twice.

Also, it's pretty funny it's 5 years since the first championship and it's back to how do we deal with the green curry pnr.

Late game we're starting to see the difference in teams between warriors/rockets vs blazers/nugs.

Game 7 of nugs series there were a LOT of empty possessions both ways. Game was waiting for someone to stop losing.

Rockets warriors game six, warriors had to hit multiple daggers because rockets made some big shots of their own.

Warriors were down with under 5 to go and went on a 7-0 run. Pnr all the way.

Blazers got nothing and cj missed some good looks.

  • Anywhere between 4 and 6. Warriors can still sleep.

Dame and cj haven't had a balls out game yet.

They can look at a bit more Collins/hood for aminu too (or aminu will get a bump being at home.)

The issue is, unlike the rockets, blazers don't have the threats to stop Kerr being worried about playing cook, Bell, etc. And they're all doing well. Looney looks like an all star Ffs.

I'm still great and you still love it.
  • Any chance for the bucks / raptors?
