Also, in case anyone missed this, Marty O’Donnell released a video he filmed of the sessions with Steve Vai and Nile Rodgers for the Halo 2 soundtrack.
There are rumours he may be joining 343i for the Halo Infinity soundtrack too.
Tried some MP today but it seems a bit messy. They’ve got a few too many playlists and it was pretty much impossible to get a game in most of them. No active player count in any game type either which would at least give you an indication of likelihood for a match.
The main playlists were unranked and the matchmaking was a bit shoddy. Too many matches with one team having a couple of far superior players meaning few close games and frustration when you’re on the wrong end once too often.
Shame but perhaps not surprising if active player numbers are low. Think I’ll just stick to campaigns so up for co-op runs if anyone fancies it.
You could get a game in H3 BTB but suffers from poor matchmaking. I prefer 4v4 but the only active one for that picks a match in CE through 4 at random and my brain can’t cope with the constant slight tweaks in style.
Had a couple of games without overly long waits, to be fair. One quitter and some cunt who has obviously never stopped playing it... But the game is still a treat.
Myself and Cosby have started a full legendary co-op run through of the MCC. Just the first two levels of H1 done so far, but it was great to get back to it.
I’m thinking about doing a solo Legendary run through alongside that too. I’ve barely re-earned any of my Elite skull shields, I feel I should rectify that.
I had a peek at them ages ago, not sure I’m going for that. But yes, SLASO (solo, legendary, all skulls on) runs have been something people have been attempting for a while now.
Fun playing halo 3 again. There's a H3 tournament happening in the new year so the 'hardcore' (MLG settings) playlist is populated again. Really shows up what was lost by the addition of sprint.
