It's full of people waving at each other now. I was wondering if I'd have to use the defensive mode they put in to curb the toss pots but I think I've only been killed once and lost nowt.
It might just be a sweet spot right now while everyone is working on their roles, once they're done and have nowt else to aim for I'm sure they'll be back to mischief. I remember a similar thing in Sea of Thieves when the Meg update required co-op, the seas were full of friends and there were beach parties and all sorts. Then the fucking cursed cannonballs come out and everyone is back to being a twat.
My copy of this game is still in its cellophane wrapper for ps4. Need to find some time to play it.
G may be right here. Just played the first hour or so, and while it looks stunning, the controls are shit-tier.
Within 5 seconds, I’m told to pick up my gun with L1 and then pick up my hat with Square. Both items are in the floor next to each other.
Every interaction seems to be governed by the button prompts in the corner - as if the developer doesn’t trust the player (or the game) to understand what to do and when.
It may open up, but the start is very counterintuitive.
You work it out. You'll be vaulting off the upper balcony of a saloon, following a bar fight, mounting your horse while drawing your shotgun and blasting some do-gooder in the face in one fell, in no time.
You work it out. You'll be vaulting off the edge of a cliff, following a nunnery fight, punching your horse while dropping your shotgun and knocking some do-gooder in the lake in one fell, in no time.
Or you’ll accidentally punch your horse in the face, causing it to run off in the wilderness, leaving you to be eaten by wolves, at which point you’ll reassess your life and go and play something else instead.
I miss this game. It was so long it sometimes felt like a chore but gosh giddy damn it was beautiful at times, i dont mean just looks, i just mean being in that world.
