Send messageAfter 14 long years of unbearable anticipation, I have finally deigned to alight on your quaint little island/s from 27th Dec to 6th Jan.
In a suitably pompous and embarrassing fashion I have started a thread on this.
Sharoobs and I will be doing a whistle-stop tour of every warehouse, farmhouse, henhouse, outhouse and doghouse, in your area (London and Glasgow I think). For those of you putting me up - and that's everyone - my needs are simple. You will procure:
1. Three blocks of French or Italian couverture (min. 85% - no blends, single origin only);
2. Three sets of planar magnetic, dynamic and electrostatic headphones (with sufficient amplification) that I may or may not choose to use (mood dependent);
3. One fresh bowl of quinoa pudding with fresh (critical) kiwi fruit, peeled and sliced, ready at all times. This will need to be refreshed at regular intervals should I choose not to partake, and;
4. Beano. He will be present and kempt at all times.
If Paul tries to fight me I will invoke that Game of Thrones trial by combat thing and Vere will be my champion while I nip off for a chickpea curry.

I'm not bothered either way by Adored if he's reading (hallo), but I acknowledge that referring to things that have happened in the past unless the person is present to respond is a problem, and I could have/should have been more thoughtful about where I put it. Fair enough.
That said, if you're suggesting I'd deliberately push some kind of personal agenda in that thread, in Gunn's thread, someone I had affection for, you'd want to be re-thinking that as it's a very nasty and frankly offensive suggestion you're making.
