I think I came in just under 100Hz and topped out at just over 15,000Hz, but I listening via an iPad, not headphones, and the bathroom fan is running.g.man wrote:

Edit, page turn: I topped out at just over 15000 I think, but that was on an old tablet. I wonder if what it would be on noise cancelling headphones. -

Human hearing is oft quoted as 20-20,000Hz, but some are better than that, and higher frequencies go as you get older, afaik. -

I've got a feeling my tablet can't produce sounds above 15000hz as it seems to cut out there, and it's quite a distinct stop, rather than a gradual fade out. -
You also have to listen to the HD version on YouTube. Lesser streams will compress the audio making more extreme frequencies disappear.Come with g if you want to live...

Speakers are unlikely to top out at higher frequencies, but the signal might due to compression as G says. -
On my iPhone speaker I could hear stuff that was not the pure tone.

Send messageThe demo is difficult to judge without context. The combat is typical Platinum Games fare, so that's great. Its up to the Squeenix team to deliver story and characters on par with the original, and it'll end up being a cracking game for sure. -
I think I'm gonna hold off the demo simply because the whole thing works better as a whole. Like in the first the genero parts are important to smooth out the weird parts.

It's a good demo. All seems a bit too familiar at first, but the constant shifts in perspective really add something. Plus the bigger encounters are pretty great. -

Yeah, enjoyed it but it all looked the same just a different perspective and didn't look as good graphically as I was hoping .
I'm very interested in getting it but not sure when , I'm guessing it's an action rpg with not too much rpg ?

It is a bit weak graphically for sure. There's some leveling up in there, but not sure if there are real RPG elements. Hard to say from the demo.
