I hope it sells a lot of copies. I think iOS needs a superstar example that f2p isn't the only way to make money on mobile.

Crossy Road was a big iOS redo of Frogger a few years ago but with an endless runner feel to it.
This is closer to the Rayman iOS games. -
yeah, probably getting my genres muddled a touch, but is this a 1 finger tap jobbie? is the excitement largely that it's mario? I mean I have enjoyed a phone game in my time, but I struggle with seeing the nuance.

Endless-runner Mario's so egregious because he only requires three buttons in his classic form. They could've at least added speed-up and slow-down like Kikstart, Auto Zone and the rest. £8.99, I hear? -
Judging from the videos they've managed to put in quite a bit of complexity for one touch controls just from how the levels are designed.
Looks like it could be good. Hopefully it androids at some point -
Was onboard for this till I heard it needs constant internet connection, which seems to destroy the image they're after of the salaryman playing one-handed on the subway.

Maybe he's referring to a game requiring an internet connection to run for nothing other than copy protection purposes. -
It'll be good, but needs that Nintendo easy to finish and pretty fun, hard to 100℅ and totally amazing thing.

I think the majority of iOS games require online these days. Which is fine most of the time but I guess if you're on a plane or underground can frustrate. I wonder if it's to stop hacks?
Anyway - I'll be in for this, looks good fun and my kid is loving Mario at the moment. Probably pick it up after Christmas.I'm falling apart to songs about hips and hearts...
