I played golf Yeah I'm basically very lucky with metabolism/physique etc. - haven't "run" since I was about 19, and even doing any exercise has decidedly pretty hit-and-miss since kids 8 years ago. But since about June/July I've been playing five-a-side once a week, and cycling to work a couple of times, so fitness & stanima are certainly building up - and I think they just never dipped tooo far through luck more than anything, I've always been kinda quick on my feet. It'll be interesting to see how fast I can go if I actually keep at it properly (hopefully below 21 mins but we'll see!!). Not smoking or (regularly) drinking FTW!GooberTheHat wrote:I presume you ran fairly regularly before taking up park run? (please tell me you ran fairly regularly before taking up park run)
