Ignore hitting the 3 gravity boosts to open the Master Sword jump when you enter the castle, and take a tight left turn building up a super mini boost instead.
Used my mushroom where the WR did that tricky boost shortcut near the end, before that I was using it to cut across the grass immediately after exiting the castle.
I think I may need to defer to a separate TT thread because
1) my heart and skill is not in it as much as you guys
2) I really am struggling for time to even play games atm
Ohoohoohoo how do we know you won't cheat somehow to put yourself at the top?! This, just after you beat me on my home turf?! I smell something fishy and it ain't my breakfast.
I reckon I should be trusted to do it. No way I would cheat.
Trying to play split screen multiplayer on the ferry yesterday and it seems somehow player two has got motion control switched on giving me an unintentional left hand lean cos of the way I hold the pad
Couldn’t find an option screen for love nor money and didn’t have the internet cos on ferry
But I know there is one as I remember switching assisted steering off?
Any help gratefully received ?
I like to think I'm a CAN DO kind of guy... And the number of cans I can normally do is 12.
Pause it and press X or Y I think, the image of the kart will have a yellow aerial visible if assisted is switched on. Or a steering wheel image if you mean motion controls.
Edit: Wait, you do mean motion controls as that's what you've said. It's still assigned to a certain button on the pause screen.
On the Wii U it was the plus and minus buttons can't remember off the top of my head what it is on the switch but it does signpost it on the selection screen it just doesn't tell you what they do.
The stat thing is hardly front and centre, you could be forgiven for assuming it's a big old secret they don't want the player to know, much like the character classes:
What set up do people use for the races? I've seen that a feather character plus bike (Mr Scooty but there's a couple of others) is the quickest acceleration, and it's probably the easiest for me to win with but I don't like how it seems to max out quite quickly. Heavies in a race are a no-go cos I get smacked up so often.
