I mean, I don't mind all the mining and plant collecting and fishing in the open worlds because that's the vibe of those places - chilled out free-roam. But shit, scanning 12 Vestian moss a regular 1000mph slaughterfest missions can do one.
Edit: Of course, the Dusklight Sarracenia needed for a certain tonic can be found at any time on Grineer Shipyard tilesets (at ground level, in the dirty water usually). Ceres is good.
Still haven't jumped into Deimos, but yeah, wasn't taken with the other open-world story missions. I like the actual worlds though, and zipping around on my K-Drive or Archwing and chilling out with a spot of cave fishing or animal preservation is fine by me.
Came close to taking down my first Tusk Thumper on the PoI last night. Those spider tanks are so damn fast, and when Tusk reinforcements show up things always turn to shit. Spider tank + infantry + light attack craft + heavy gunship all trying to kill you is a legit WTF moment. I bailed after dying 3 times.
Haven't got into the whole open-world mega-boss thing yet. I've seen the Eidolons roaming the Plains at night of course, and they're fucking terrifying. Think that'll have to be a clan invite thing when I do get to it.
Ah shit! Get Argon from the Void. Teshub is the best I've found, a level 10-15 (I think) Exterminate mission accessed via the Phobos junction, so pretty easy to get to.
It's mainly found in large crystal deposits, but you'll sometimes find a piece in a locker or container. Argon does deteriorate after a few days though.
Lolol. Good times today. Thanks for tip re argon. Nabbed a new secondary that's hella fun.
Had only just started on kunai too. But a good defense fissure mission and they're maxed anyway. I am so gonna mod and buff the shit out of them, they're soo fun.
One piece away from a Paris prime too.
Likewise braton and one of the other b rifles prime versions.
Steal meridian is real handy for just buying more relics when I'm lazy.
What can I use ducats for? And what is best to do with multiple blueprints?
Also, I think I need that music cephalon in my life. Sooo awesome when you're squaded up with someone rocking the doof doof.
No worries, and nice going. My relic farming is not usually that good, but I am just one part away from building a Redeemer Prime gunblade, and I've got Ivara Prime building atm! I got the last piece I needed via trading though.
Yeah, you can join multiple syndicates. I'm currently wearing Steel Meridian’s sigil but as I'm also a member of their allies, the Red Veil, I'm levelling up with them a small amount every time I get SM standing.
Switching sigils or having dedicated faction-frames works just fine as long as your factions are neutral.
Ducats (from selling unwanted prime parts) are used to buy stuff from the Void Trader, Baro Ki’teer.
He has some really cool shit to sell, from high tier weapons to the very powerful primed mods. You won't know what he's selling 'til he arrives and he's not cheap, often requiring hundreds of Ducats plus hundreds of thousands of credits per item.
I think he's due at a relay again in a few days. Warframe Hub will have the full details, but you do get an in-game message when he appears.
Edit: Regarding multiple blueprints, just sell 'em for credits. I sold a bunch of spare weapon and Warframe parts blueprints last night and pocketed 250k. That was nice.
Actually, Face, if you've got enough blueprints to make a second version of a Warframe you already own you might wanna keep them for the Helminth system introduced in Deimos.
I'm not there yet, but it seems you feed the infestation in your ship fully built Warframes then pick one of their abilities to store. You can then put that ability on any other Warframe you own, replacing an ability you don't use much.
So, you could build Nova with Loki's invisibility instead of her 2 for example.
It's an MR 8 system and it looks like it takes a crazy amount of resources to level up, but there's amazing potential there.
Baro's back. Here's a lowdown of his wares from the ever reliable Layzar.
Just to note that the Sands of Inaros quest is available every time he visits until you purchase it, and rewards you with the Inaros Warframe on completion.
I'm nearly done upgrading the boring and annoying hammer I've been using. Need to stock up on relics though, because I'm chasing 1 part each for the braton and burston primes.
Join an established clan, Face. Their research labs should have loadsa weapons and a few Warframes available. You just copy the blueprints and build them at your foundry.
Re: Nitain, the best and easiest way to get it is via Nightwave. The first tier reward is 50 credits, and you can use these credits to buy a wide variety of items from the Nightwave reward pool, including 10 x Nitain for 15 credits. It's how I've got all of mine.
You go up tiers by gaining standing, 10000 per tier, and there's a bunch of daily and weekly challenges that reward standing. For example, there's a current weekly that gives 4500 standing for completing any 3 sabotage missions. Easy. Some are tougher and purely end-game focussed - anything that mentions Eidolons, crewships or Railjacks for example.
The main beat of Nightwave is made up of a series of dream-like episodes, where you have to find pieces of evidence and memorise them in order to progress through a memory test section that offers new revelations about the case with every episode. We're currently on episode 4 of 5, with the final coming in the next couple of weeks.
It can be a bit awkward to figure out what you gotta do and the clues are randomised for every person, but I'll help if I can, and there's a few decent YT guides out there.
