Escape got there first. It's not as if games have ever given us anything other than a series of stereotypes throughout their existence, so the presence of a gay/camp one is at least progress as it fits with all the rest of them - the 'bros', the 'slutty doctors' etc.

I was playing free mode on IV last night and came across this where someone had spawned a load of tugboats in the city, I've no idea how he did it but it did slow the game down to about 2 frames per second. This was on the 360 version, was this a case of hacking?

I downloaded the one hour trial of Liberty City Stories and the pop-in once you were on a fast bike was easily the worst I have seen. I don't care how pretty a static shot is, they need to sort that out if they are releasing this current gen.

GTA could quite easily scratch every one of my gaming itches...

1. Campaign - I've loved all the GTA campaigns so this is a given.

2. MP - After seeing what Max Payne 3 was capable of GTA is only a couple of tweaks away from getting the MP right.

3. RPG - Skyrim hooked me into the world of RPG's, I can't see a reason why this in a modern city wouldn't work. In fact I think that done right it easily surpass the success of Skyrim.

5. Zombies - Every good Zombie based story, whether that be film, book or game, always features a city and it's cities that can raise the most tension. Not only only that but GTA has everything you want, a chance to scavenge, an opportunity to hole up, vehicles to get to different places, an unescapable island, a true day/night cycle.

So there you have it, every game I've enjoyed could be recreated within Liberty City's boundaries. Even without the above I still cannot wait for the day GTA V comes out...

Got burned with GTAIV but loved RDR and L.A. Noire so not sure what to make of it really. I think the reasons I liked the latter two aren't going to be part of V.

Still, at least all the reviewers will suck R*s dick again.

GTAIV was a milestone game, love or hate it. Whether the enjoyment was short lived or not, it was incredibly entertaining. I refuse to believe there was anybody who picked it up and immediately went 'oh, this is shit'. Who gives a fuck if it didn't haveÂ longevity. What does these days?

I hated it, it was technically good enough but it ws dull. The colour way was dull, the driving mechanics were dull and eastern europeans are dull.

i plaged tbogt lately and im sure there were no pop in at all, at least not noticable.
however my friends 60 gig old ps3 has huge roads appear in front of him as hes driving on top of them sometimes.
his disk and ps3 are fucked though and he knows it.

maybe thats part of the problem, maybe not.
