Going by my memory here, but I'm pretty sure there was a chapter in "Blood, Sweat and Pixels" that mentioned Activision. What I remember is that they mainly were very strict with their release dates. The game needs to be out in a certain part of the year to get the best profits.Childintime wrote:Yeah, it’s fine to worry. I’m no great fan of Activision - but I’ve seen nothing thus far that appears to look like any creative compromises. Game looks tight and tough as nails.
It's decent enough. Gives some interesting insight and is written in a very easy language, so you'll read through it pretty quickly. Made me want to try Stardew Valley (but I prefer finding Harvest Moon GBA first) and appreciate the way the CD Projekt Red works. For a while it made me want to try the Witcher, but that has shifted to Cyberpunk now.Childintime wrote:Keep meaning to read that book.
