I disagree with Yoss, for the record. I wouldn't count myself as a 'sim' driver or a regular 'serious racing' game player. I'm not (intentionally) suggesting sim handling in the L33T/git gud way, nor do i think it's a particularly hardcore 'sim' mode...and not trying to shame anyone that prefers the arcade option either. Just for me it brought the game to life and made the handling 'work', so i'd recommend trying it to anyone struggling with the game."Like i said, context is missing."

Even without sim stuff on there are cars that I struggle to make go in a straight line. Sim modes sound terrifying. -
I'm not suggesting i can actually drive in a straight line with it...it's just more fun trying!

Sim steering is fine for the road races, cross country is a no go though it's nigh on impossible to use especially if you get in a spin after a rough landing.

Unfuckingbelievable. Despite only completing installation of the game, car packs and expansions yesterday evening, today it needs a 1.3GB update.
I have a two hour window in which to finally get to try the Lego expansion. Most of this time will be spent watching a progress bar. Fuck this gen. -
It's the crowd animated in the same style as lego movie that gets me.

I wish they had a wee Lego guy/girl with you during the pre-race loading screen.

Yeh that's my one complaint. There's a mini figure driving the car but not on the pre/post race. I guess then they'd have to do a whole set of minifigure rewards. Which would be awesome, and also why we need a separate full Lego Forza game.

I think my favourite part is the end of the attract sequence, where the Lego McLaren Senna revs up, then just ‘dinks’ off the big screen instead of driving through it like the real one. That’s a beautifully witty moment and shows the power of simple animation. -
Yes yes yes. I was literally shouting at the screen in excitement at that moment and they bloody got me there, big smiles.
On the subject of a standalone title. Get Sumo Digital to do it. They handled the 360 FH2 superbly well. Dream game for me now. -
That was a lovely two hours. As mentioned above it's all the little touches. I knocked over a fence then happened to drive back the same way a few seconds later and scattered the cows that had escaped onto the road.

I don't want to bang on about 4K and HDR to much but holy shit this game is a showcase for it. Utterly breathtaking.
