About 15 years ago Spain nearly got involved in a military clash over a perceived 'invasion' of this 'Spanish territory'. There was much flag waving.
The Perejil Island crisis was a bloodless armed conflict between Spain and Morocco that took place on 11–20 July 2002. The incident took place over the small, uninhabited Perejil Island, when a squad of the Royal Moroccan Navy occupied it. [...] The island itself is unpopulated, only seldom visited by Moroccan shepherds.

They sell some items at a loss. As Goober said, it gets customers into the shop, and then they make their profit on the rest of the stuff you buy. Same as console makers, the console is always sold at a loss - they make their money on the games. (Except Nintendo, I think. Their "use old tech in interesting ways" schtick means everything from the Wii forward has been sold at a profit. IIRC.)

Seems like a risky plan. "We'll make luxury cars that are so shit you have to bring them back for repairs all the time."
GooberTheHat wrote:Absolutely. I'm sure it wasn't the plan, I just can't think what else it could have been.

Can't say that's a very 1970s looking passport. 1990s maybe. Looks like my first one (apart from the photo maybe)
