Andy, wanting to chill rather than being on your feet put me off VR too. Hoping Shabby will back me up here, but there's just something about being untethered which encourages you to be upstanding.

It takes some coin though - and it's a solo experience. I can't help thinking I'd get better value just joining this gen and getting a Switch and MK8 Dx.
Sold mine and no regrets. Well, one or two. Cost-wise, kinda comparable if factoring a largish SD card, screen protector and pro controller.
Primarily a solo experience? But a very different ride!
Undoubtedly the Switch has and an amazing catalogue plus more multiplayer options, but getting the high score on a Beat Saber song or Racketball NX turns my wife and daughter into competitive she-devils.
Edited.

Yeah the tables packs are pricey. Especially galling as I have most of them already on the Xbox.bad_hair_day wrote:Hey Scout, new to Pinball FX and loving the immersion but almost lost my shit a few times when the table kept tilting randomly - turns out the left joystick nudges the machine! That Jaws/ET/Back To the Future bundle would be more tempting if it wasn't so pricey. Will check if there's a friend list score comparison tonight.
