The food on reg's travels around Tokyo really does put the American stuff that g.man posted on his whistle stop tour to shame. Theres no comparison.

I dont, but I could be easily proved wrong. Having visited a few times, the food has never been inspiring. Just huge portions of blandness.

America does some incredible food. Generally you have to go for the local delicacy (the fried chicken I had in the south, oh my days) or a place like New York which has all of the foods. Good stuff everywhere if you look though.
Japan has good (read:amazeballs) food but you'll be surprised by how little vegies you eat unless you hunt them out. -

Made it to camelback sando house which is run by a guy who used to do 2 Michelin star sushi.

Tokyo's sticky summer is in full fucking effect.

Went to Ikebukuro today. Ostensibly looking for the new capcom cafe.
There was one but it was sadly surrounded by gatchapons.
So I went to sunshine city and the Pokémon store.
Then finally got to try Camelback sandos, the only thing allegedly close to King George.
It was incredible and I'd never had lamb bacon before, but I'd still do a KG first.
Finished off the day with a shoe beer.
