They absolutely nailed the level up sound effect in FE. Proper dopamine feedback loop.

So much to do. Lots of little fetch quests and even more talking than I recall from previous games. Have only fought three times so far. Have spent ages finding stuff around the monastery. The map sucks big balls on the small screen though. Still don’t have my bearings.

If you can't decide house, Kotaku did a "what to know" about each of them.

Went with the Black Eagles myself. Think I need a bigger TV because it takes a lot of effort to read everything.

I got slightly confused by this too. I think when you first meet them you're explaining where you were born. Then you pick a proper house to teach later on at the monastery.

I'm anti-upsidedown people so I went with Black Eagles. Leaning towards Petra as a favourite.

I grew to appreciate her because she was one of my best units in battle. Could take down just about anything with her bow, even from 3 or 4 spaces away. The way she was still panicking and wanting to stop fighting despite murdering everyone in sight was somehow endearing.

I like that her weapon reflects her character: keep the fuck away and I will fuck you up to make sure of it.

I've heard to play through one specific house second due to it having some huge plot twists that are more exciting if you've seen the story from a different Pov.

I wish they’d gone one way or the other with the graphics. The cell shaded mans look cool but then over the “realistic” everything else it’s a bit weird.

But...it’s not so bad I’d really complain about it (especially as I zoom around with run on and fast travel a lot)

Loving the fishing game.

Gonna do all three houses I think. Just really enjoy all of it at the moment. Even like to grab a coffee and stick the social chats on auto play.

To me I think the pacing in this game (so far) is A+ each part makes you look forwards to getting back to the other part. I love the forced gap between missions which means you can’t really get bored of them filled with hundreds of meaningless ones.

I played this until I got to the monastery and found I couldn't reverse the Y camera axis.

Hopefully I'll get over it and crack on. Or maybe I missed the option.

Ok so I swear I've played other FE games honest guv but baby's first question here.

When I get equipment for completing missions around the monastary... Where do they go. . and how do I equip them?
I've been fannying around the Intentory -> items menu for 5 mins and cannot make hide nor hair.

Think they go into stock. You'd need to transfer them from stock into the character's inventory and then equip them.
