Before Walkers (which sort of coincided with the Tesco invasion post ceasefire) we had Golden Wonder and Tudor crisps along with Tayto in the North. Tayto North is based in Tandragee, Co. Armagh. They run factory tours. Known as Tayto Castle (aka Tandragee Castle).
There were other minor local brands too - Kings, Farmer Brown etc.Holding the wrong end of the stick since 2009. -
Just realised that the tayto logo my gf drawn on a flash sheet/bday card for a pal who was being surprised with a visit to Dublin was the nordie one. Apologies all round gents.

Someone brought mushroom flavour crisps back from Spain a little while back, and people always bring fried egg flavour crisps from there too (we've an office in Madrid).
The fried egg ones are... weird, like you don't think they taste great, but for some reason they're very moreish. The mushroom crisps are delicious.
I can't remember the packet colours. -

Irish Cadbury is nicer too, though Cadbury in general has gone downhill since they started using oils as a substitute for other ingredients.
We have Caramello though, which I've never seen anywhere in the UK.

I don't think I've noticed a difference in Cadbury chocolate. It just tastes like dairy milk.
I do like that they still do the Turkish Delight one here though. That was discontinued in the UK because its run by monsters. -

I think it was the Cadbury's chocolate bar with a bit of TD inside, was a little different to the Fry's.
