Zombie Kidz Evolution.

So this is a great kids game.



Starts off really simple, and easy. But.... Its a legacy game so evolves as you play. Every so many games you open envelopes and add stuff to the game. I'll spoil what's happened so far, all simple stuff, but it's ramped the difficulty up to keep us engaged. Great stuff.

When you're done you can still play the game, using whatever added rules you like.

Cover looks like Splatoon but this is actually good.

Played Judge Dredd The Cursed Earth last night, fuck me it’s hard. Same premise as Lost Expedition but with a Dredd theme.

Good old Trump, looks like board games, could be getting quite a bit more expensive because of his Import tax increase for China.

UK Games Expo Haul.

Chuffed I grabbed Mexica, it's alluded me for a while. English version of Undo isn't even out yet either, and I'm enjoying these little one shot games atm.

Not boardgames but I've finally finished my tryptich of mechanical troopers. 
This time is the Kriegsmarine-Trooper. 
Photos aren't great I'll have to see if I can get hold of my brother in law's decent camera. 

So anyone that is vaguely interested in painting miniatures, GW have just released their new range of paints - Contrast. 

They're basically heavily pigmented glazes that you apply over a light base coat (GW have made two new sprays for this, smooth coverage warm white and cold white) which pool in recesses and thin over raised areas, giving you an instant basecoat, highlight and recess shading in one coat.

People have been testing them for weeks now, and they've just released to the public yesterday. The results you can get in minutes is frankly... ridiculous.

And i'll post some stuff my pals have done recently below. I can't wait to get to GW when I am free to try some out on some of the gribbly models I have that I haven't had much luck with. Painting skin in one coat in 5 minutes is an absolute fucking game changer, and as you'll see below, they've made yellow easy as hell.

This model's flesh for example was painted with one coat of the new Guilliman Flesh, for example

From what I’ve read the key is in brush control and not being afraid: just do one quite thick coat, then use your brush to move the paint around

Splodged this lot on in 10 mins this morning. Doesn't hold up to any scrutiny, but when based and in a horde of 80 other minis then yeh, it will most certainly do for the time I'll save.



Gone from aiming to have my army ready this time next year to this time in a few months.

How many games do you play ?

Four minis (need basing obvs) in about 90 mins total.

Again, they won't win any awards but they are more than good enough for a tabletop horde.
