edit: the target thing is becasue my screen has stopped responding in the menu buttons area, so that gives me custom shortcuts, pretty handy tool actually. Smart Touch is the app, no root required

Anyone know of a lockscreen app that will leave just music info/app on screen? Even when it goes "off." similar to way pixels leave time on screen even when off.
And/or same when I have maps open. I want the little music play back forward listing on screen with map.
I think there's a permissions tab under apps in vanilla android settings. I imagine the oppo app is just a shortcut or macro to these. Can yo tweak them there instead

Sister want s to get a smartphone for the youngest kids so they can stay in touch when at their dad's. Is there anything that gets closer to the £50-70 range that isn't a total duffer?
Doesn't need a flash camera, doesn't need a flash screen, not maddeningly slow would be nice etc etc?
I've seen a cheap Nokia 1.3? or some weird Blackview A60 (no idea.. ) on Amazon. I thought there'd be a fair few Xiaomi or better quality (oppo? Poco?) Chinese things somewhere in the mix at that price? Second hand no real problem if it's going to be fair enough.
Cheers folks. There are some ropey views of the Nokia but it looks like the price may be king here. Enough folks seem to say the android Gois fair enough and it'll do I think.
I'd suggest a Redmi if they weren't just that touch too pricey still.
Okay so a bit of fiddling about and I'm really into this new update. It came with a new "official" theme and also in the Themes app it had an option to change the system font to the one used in China, apparently. So it feels like a new phone tbh
Okay, first major annoyance that I can't find a solution for.
So the Spotify slab is now much bigger, which looks nice, but when you pair it with that audio device output one, it means that I can't see other things as easily, especially when driving and quick looks are what's needed. The audio device notifications are absolutely not allowed to be switched off, despite it being very easy in the last version. Annoying.
No, sorry, that's what I get when I pull down from the top. The annoyance comes when I'm linked up to android auto, listening to music, and can't peek (at a red light obvs) at what a new whatsapp message says cos all that is in the way. And that I can't not have it show me the audio device block. I hate notifications I can't mute.
Agreed. Its given me the option to ditch some stuff, but not others, that I couldn't get rid of previously, but overall, some stuff is frustratingly unmovable.
Might annoy in other circumstances, but there are WhatsApp notifications that appear over lockscreen and allow quick reply or view. That might help.
I have a Galaxy A3 2017 that's constantly plaguing me with warning messages about how my phone is 'dangerously low on space.' Is this a common problem? Thing is, far as I can tell I've barely got anything on it. I've deleted all but my essential apps and any music, pics etc are on the SD card. I found a tip where you can go in and clear the cache of apps individually. This often clears enough space to get rid of the warning message but hours later it's back again. Any ideas?
