Sounds like a real shitter mate.Dark Soldier wrote:Think I'll be leaving this job in the new year. Go back today after 9 days off, new rotas etc. People start to realise they're now working one weekend on, one weekend off, continuous. Used to be one weekend, two off. Nobody was informed about this change, asked, even told today about it. Management avoiding all questions and queries from staff, two left already, and its since come out if you do a weekend, the next weekend you may still be in either a Saturday or Sunday. Barely any two continuous days off now. And to top it off, they have sent out 1500 mass emails to customers saying we can't reply to their emails due to the backlog and to ring in. Today we had 1700 calls for 35 of us to deal with. This, despite taking on 40 more email staff and no phone staff. Fuck it.

It's obviously best if you can stay calm for a decent ref while you're hunting elsewhere. You're doing well with this, it'd be a shame to lose that momentum.

But if you don't own it, what's the £200 for?WorKid wrote:What would you do with it at the end of your contract?

Exactly. Quicker delivery.Dark Soldier wrote:Buy them off Amazon instead

I understand python is where the hard core go, but that may well be beyond my ability (due to a lack of time) to learn. Is there anything else I could look at (or if not, any python tips or libraries I could use)?
