It's hard to get invested in new MMO properties nowadays as there really hasn't been a decent MMO since Guild Wars 2 launched back in 2012.
I would love a new MMO though... seeing as Destiny clearly isn't scratching the itch for me. What with all my ranting and blabbering on in said thread.
Yup, actually liked that. But people left it rather quick. Now that I think of it I enjoyed it quite a bit. Always thought it had a little bit of charm to it. Think it's on sale on Steam atm
Just watched the video. A free update, my god. I hate to say it but it kinda puts Bungie to shame. The Division was always updated more like an MMO with patches than Destiny though. It's a shame it didn't catch on as much. From what I remember playing it was rather good. Might update my Xbox version too.
Does Divinity have its own thread? I'm back on Original Sin, loving being back in Cyseal again and it's been long enough that I only remember the broad strokes of the opening sections so it still feels pretty fresh.
Also, any PS4 Badgers want my disc copy? I bought the download on Xbone when it was cheap just in case Franny fancied a co-op run. Haak, not sure if you played it but I think you'd love it.
Edit: Just checked and you've bought DOS2 on the last page. How you getting on with it?
Divinity doesn't have its own thread but it probably should. I'm talking a short break now that I've reached the 100 hour mark in DOS2. It's a fantastic game, hopefully you'll get it on the xbox at some point (probably a bit trimmed of features, mind you).
Yeah, the PC version has a part (which I haven't tried) which emulates a pen and paper rpg by allowing a player to act as the Dungeon Master and run the game 'live', following their own story but improvising as necessary on the fly. You can add custom graphics etc as far as I know and the objective is that your own stories can go anywhere at all. It would need a fairly solid group of players to get the most out of it. There are templates for a basic story already included.
Yeah, it does. I really think at least the DM would need to be at a pc and keyboard to keep it running. Now, if they could arrange some kind of pc/xbox crossplay...
