And who plays poker here? I've decided I'm going pro if my tickets come good.

I was going to buy a ticket tonight but Tesco had a massive queue and all the newsagents seemed to be shut. Website wasn't working either.

3 lines on for tonight. I am a big gambler: football, horses and baseball mainly. Also roulette on occasion. Few months ago before a uni hand in I whacked a tenner on black online at about 4am. I proceeded to turn this into 570 quid (Guessed black/red about 10 times in a row) and I then chucked it all away in seconds after getting 9 blacks in a row. Stopped roulette now and stick to coupons and horses.

I've never bought a lottery ticket or put money on a horse or anything like that. The idea of gambling doesn't give me any entertainment at all. Prefer to spend the money on drugs and whores.

I did mine through the website, which means it will take about a day to process NL site is awful.

It does however get through our gambling filter ar work.

Lottery tickets are a bit like Schrodinger's Cat. I always find checking the numbers jinxes things...

So I'll leave it a bit till there's hype about the unclaimed winning and then BAM it'll be mine.

When I dragged Wookie and Frosty through a casino on their first night on the strip in Vegas, we went to a roulette table that was empty, and I asked the dealer to give them a couple of tips as they'd never played.

His tip was "stay at least 6 feet away from the table if you want to keep your money."

Sure enough, 3 minutes and $40 later, we were away to our next adventure.

I like to wait at least a few days before checking my lottery numbers. I could be a millionaire for those few days. It's a nice, light feeling followed by the thud of checking the numbers and winning fuck all.

I meant to buy a ticket on Friday but I my nap overran the deadline for it. Luckily the euromillions has rolled over again. This one is mine!

I failed to follow my own advice, and looked too early. With the inevitable consequence of not winning even a sausage even though a sausage would be quite nice now thank you

Missing a multi-million winning ticket because of a nap would be quite devastating, even if it was a really refreshing one.

I have just joined Sky bet ready for the football season, was fed up hearing my friends winning on accumulator bets last season. After browsing the site, I can see how easy it is to chuck bets here there and everywhere.

They give you a free Â£10 bet for joining...tempted to use it on the Womens 400m swimming final tonight.

I'm going to take a Terry Pratchett view and say that if I never buy lottery tickets then the first one I buy, given that it's for the lottery with most participants (Euromillions, I suppose), is a shoe in for the jackpot.

I've tried to push this ages ago, but can't we set up an online B&B poker room?
I know MK says he can play abit... I'm reasonable, but have never tested myself.

Online's not the same as a proper table and a scrap of change, but it should still be
good for a laugh...
