Copying my post over from Edge. Now with added opinionz.

Looking pretty good. Certainly cinematic. Hopefully none of that was scripted.
I like the dark comic book style but not exactly a fan of the enemy path hints.

Just played through the sniper challenge. Did all the challenges(achievements) too. Must have taken a total of 2 hours or so. Quite enjoyable although the A.I is the same standard bullshit affair that it has always been. Civilians not reacting to a body by their feet. Bodyguards not protecting the VIP, simply fleeing the scene.
Graphics surprised me. Wacked it all on Ultra (PC version obvz) and it run flawlessly although it still looked a bit shit.

Could well have been a trailer for Splinter Cell: Blacklist. I've probably got nostalgia goggles from Hitman 1 & 2 still (haven't gotten around to Blood Money yet despite having it on Steam and apparently Contracts is shit) but this isn't really Hitman at all.
Still, could be a good game with alternative methods I suppose. I'm starting to realise how Splinter Cell fans must have felt seeing the first gameplay from Conviction.
Contracts wasn't shit, it's just the tone was a bit off, the story was disjointed, and the levels lacked the traditional freedom.  In Blood Money, you really do have 3 or 4 entirely different ways to approach each hit, while in Contracts it was more that you were funnelled through the levels and had choices to make at a couple of junctures.  I didn't feel I was free to observe and work out my own ways to hit the same way I was in Blood Money. Â
The Meat King level was pretty distasteful and I think that coloured a lot of opinions on Contracts, but it's absolutely worth playing. Â I picked up the (backwards compatible) Xbox version for 99p.
Just reordered from Sainsbury's with that code, ta Moto. Sainsbury's appears to have an ego problem and told me they cancelled it. I cancelled it Sainsbury's. I cancelled it.

That looks excellent fun, not exactly Hitman as i remember it however
The enemy path trails i like, i think they reflect a measure of intuition and eye movement Agent 47 or whatever his name is can feel and see that you cant really get as a player from that camera angle, nice touch and opens up gameplay posibilities.
Scans doing the rounds on the intarwebs. They literally call it a disaster and the main game is devoid of any imagination or freedom which is replaced with hand holding and "move to this marker"-ing. Bar one good contract towards the end.
62/100.
They praise the contracts mode a bit (where you make your own missions and others can play them) but the parameters are so stiff you don't even get much freedom there.
Seems to be what we academics would call a fucking pile of shit. Â Fuck, I like Hitman.
Skerret's posting is ok to trip balls to and read just to experience the ambience but don't expect any content. "I'm jealous of sucking major dick!"~ Kernowgaz
