I'm pretty much getting to that point now.  The move to here has pretty much extinguished any attachment I have to Edge and I found myself reading the latest issue and thinking "Why am I bothering?" I just don't find it interesting anymore - there more valued opinions and news for me on this website than I find in any magazine.

They should start including a demo disc.

i still like it when i can be botherd to read it and will carry on getting it in print, but im gonna keep a lot less of them.

New issue?! Already?! Shit, need to finish last issue still. Although judging by the amount of pages I skipped last night, it won't take long.

I've pretty much stopped gaming all together so don't read it any more. When i am gaming and buying games regularly i do buy it every month and enjoy it. I like print, I don't like staring at screens 24-7 so i buy lots of magazines and books. Just going through a low point in my gaming interest.

I don't really have any issue with the mag (although I do think the revamp was and is a bit too overdesigned) - As many have said here it just doesn't really fall into my reading habits as much anymore. I'm content with getting any gaming related info from podcasts and a mix of a couple of sites that I frequent.

One thing I would say is that having downloaded and tried the iPad edition of Edge a few months ago, I'm afraid to say it feels like little more than a forced collection of parallax scrolling effects - I think over the years I'm so used to reading magazine content in such a way that the very idea of reading a 'mag' on a tablet just feels wrong, and I don't think it'll ever feel right to me. (Also note - This isn't a critism I have solely with Edge, I've also tried a few other iPad mags and I got the same feeling.)

I find myself barely reading issues any more, and no doubt will cancel my subscription in the not-too-distant future. I find that RockPaperShotgun and Eurogamer cover the majority of what I'm interested in, and manage to do so with a far more entertaining/interesting voice than Edge.

Still, fair credit to Edge; despite accusations of being pretentious given that it's a mag about toys, they've never gone as far as Polygon bad.
