Hope it's a tiny fix as didn't find it a problem, git gud and all that. Biggest gripe is being thrown in to a game when messing in menus, a problem they supposedly fixed.
It doesn't help that BF1 had become a bit too easy because of Games With Gold at the end, but it isn't just that the fast TTK is making it difficult for me. The population were already brutally bad at playing objectives in BF1, those instakills are making it much worse.
So many people will just hang around the edge of maps or lie down between flags and hope for the odd kill. Fighting on a flag is a bad idea with that sort of gunplay and the map revealing your position after every kill.
You know what I'm not sure if anything changed or if it was favourable server issue but I've just had a huge run of games where I could actually react to someone and if not get a kill at least land a few shots on them.
Felt brilliant, absolutely spot on.
Yeah, much better, MVP twice out of four games and did a load of assignments without breaking a sweat. Doesn't feel that different, it's just a bit more lenient on moving.
I was a bit dubious re the spotting thing removal as well, but I really liked it.
You have to be way more conscious of teammate deaths and tracer direction but if you manage to get the drop on a group you can clean up nicely without lighting up the map and having everyone zero in on you.
It's especially good when capping flags.
I think there is a disconnect between the PC and console versions in 5, perhaps more than usual. From what I heard and saw from the PC players the consensus was that the TTK was/is perfect, and didn't need to be changed. From my playing of it recently I definitely thought that it was just fine really, had that balance of having a good chance of surviving on runs between cover under fire, and also being able to get the odd kill when taking those shots at people running. But then most console folks seem to be having a host of issues with it, compounded with and perhaps due to server issues that I just haven't seen over on the PC.
Deffo a shame to see, but FWIW I've really liked what I've had time to play so far.
