Childs Play 2012 - Total raised Â£2,000. I love you all. - The Bear and Badger

So it's November 1st, which means the start of the 2012 Childs Play fundraising season. There are three UK hospitals on the list, Alder Hey, Royal Manchester Children's Hospital and Children's Hospital Sheffield. If I remember rightly, Alder Hey and Royal Manchester have been beneficiaries in the past, but I don't think Sheffield has, so I'd suggest them.

This is their wishlist, which features a bunch of consoles. As before if we get a big sum we should go for the big ticket items first, as they are the least likely to be donated.

I'm willing to organise this, unless someone else really wants to.

As everyone seems happy for me to organise, I guess lets get this started. Paypal account is diluteddante [at] gmail.com. For those who don't want to/can't use Paypal and want to send a cheque PM me for my address.

Paypal is no longer a bag of shite and clears within 2 hours, or instantly in the case of the first withdrawal. Now extended until Wed 19th December, as I think I'm off that day so will be the best time to order rather than rushing on last post day.

What was the cutoff date in the past? Paypal takes a few days to withdraw if I remember rightly.

The lack of Scottish hospitals is what made me change my mind about making my charity effort for Child's Play. Â I'll still donate to this, obviously, but my fundraiser will just be for Aberdeen.

I've come into possession of several PS1 games, I can put a list up on Monday. Is it worth shoving them up here for sale, all proceeds to Child's Play? Not sure how desirable many of them are, think I spied GT and MGS in the mix.
