PS4 Tekken 7's due an update with reduced input lag (from 8 to 5, to match the PC and Bone), along with a rematch option in PMs. Roujin and I have had shorter matches than the loads in-between, so that'll be awesome. And the input lag'll be a massive help when it comes to punishing, taking it back to the feel of older versions.
Geese is due in December, hopefully with the bits above. As ever, unreliable netcode and its lack of a team mode are my quibbles. It's a good game that should be amazing, because teams are only a slight reworking of a spectator lobby. I wouldn't mind a small delay when the next player syncs.
Best advice for GG is just to get stuck in and ask questions here. Probaby easiest thing for people new to the game is get used to the air movement and have a go at learning some really basic strings into specials and using the cancels to extend the combo and then have a go at learning a launcher into air combo and also have a go at learning a basic air to ground combo.
And don't forget about your burst meter, it's your free GETTHEFUCKOFFMEPLS button when it's charged.

Roman cancels are kind of like an FADC but it's easier just to think of them as a straight up cancel any move at any time. You can cancel a move during startup to bait people, you can cancel stuff on hit and you can cancel stuff during recovery/on block.
I say that because in Revelator they actually gave you a focus attack, you can charge the blitz shield (this game's name for parry) and I think when the move is charged it causes crumple stun on hit giving you a free whatever you want to do.

Really, really enjoying this.
It may well sneak into my GotY list. So familiar, so much to learn, and also extremely beautiful...
Learning this game feels worthwhile... Probably the best fightman since SF4.
It's also got me looking out towards Dragon Ball FighterZ...
I was expecting to find similarities...
There are very few... It's very different to a good number of fighting games.
For a start, unlike many of the recent vs games since SF4, Dragon Ball looks very, very fast.
Indeed, it looks more like 'Marvel' than MvC3, and MVCI...
As for negatives... DBZ is bullshit.
But well made games always bring out the best in a media franchise...
