All their videos refer to it as though it's an initialism but then there's a section of their website First-Timer ResourCES, which would require it to be pronounced as an acronym for the pun to work. Moral of the story: these people need to make up their fucking minds.

"Right, I've got a really good idea, we should call the section of the website that contains resources for first-time attendees 'First-Timer ResourCES', it's like a nice little pun on the name of the convention."
"But it doesn't work because the name of the convention is an initialism, not an acronym."
"Does it matter Brian? Really? I think it's fun. Is it really that important?"
"Well... well... one day there might be a web forum having an ongoing discussion about acronyms and initialisms and our single instance of inconsistency may cause confusion and further inflame the discussion that these hypothetical people are having."
"Brian, I'm just putting 'First-Timer ResourCES'. I think it's fun and, and to be honest Brian I'm a bit sick of all your miserable shit. Why do you always have to spoil the fun Brian?"
"I... I..."
"Right, I've put it in now, there's no point in talking about it any more, let's move on."

I hate that guy. Always coming up with crackpot ideas and going ahead with them despite people around him giving sound reasons to drop them. He's like Ridley Scott on the set of Prometheus.
He got his comeuppance when I failed to give him a name though. Now he'll struggle with simple things like filling in forms and having work email addresses set up for him for the rest of his life.

Ubuntu on mobile could be interesting. Or shit. Probably shit.
Also interested in the next set of Windows phones and ultrabooks. Or MS might just decide to give us a UK release date and price for the Surface Pro.
And, of course, it'd be nice to hear a bit more about Leap Motion considering I pre-ordered ages ago. Good to hear they've got some Asus investment so I don't feel like I'm getting ripped off.
has anyone announced a 'windows 8 gametablet' yet? Â if not, i'm claiming it. Â it would be the bastard offspring of a surface pro and a wii u gamepad. Â then you can play steam 'big picture' games while sat on the bog.
or more sensibly, someone should just make a clip on gamepad that would fit a variety of tablets...
