Just taken delivery of mad giant pup for the afternoon. Seen here needing to be held back after her parents leave, then pining after them at the window. Fun few hours ahead.
Looking for a (hopefully temporary) home for tibbs. Good with dogs, dunno about other cats. Only immunised for indoor life, so he'll have to remain a house cat. I'll pay for food and litter etc, until i can find a place to stay.
One of you is going to take that cat, don't let me down. Not Yoss.
Skerret's posting is ok to trip balls to and read just to experience the ambience but don't expect any content. "I'm jealous of sucking major dick!"~ Kernowgaz
I'm unable to bring him to my old dear's, her cat is an outside cat, so could potentially give tibbs something he isn't immunised for. That, and toby would kill him. Even though tibbs is twice his size.
My brother (not gav, the one in between us) was as desperate for a cat as i was when we got tibbs, so he worked on his mrs to convince her to take him in until I get myself sorted out. It's sad, but at least i know he's with someone who's been around cats most of his life and will care for him properly.
As briefly alluded to in the weather thread, we've recently acquired a dog. There were a host of reasons, not least the constant nagging from our kids, but also the recent death of a friend who was a huge supporter of The Dogs Trust. So, we adopted Dillon (he came pre-named, but it suits him) a few weeks ago and he's settling in pretty well...
Even if he is still a little bemused by all the changes in his life of late...
We don't really know much of his backstory, other than that he'd been to a couple of rescue centres before he ended up with us. He alternates pretty happily between frantic excitement and sleep at the moment - interspersed with stealth attempts to sneak onto the sofa.
