To invite people you start a custom match and press x on the pad to open game options.

Anything with a hand symbol is palm print locked, interacting with it will set it off unless you can inject a virus by hacking a terminal as any guy, or a power point as the hacker. The viruses bounce around a grid on the map, but generally follow you where you want to go. When it hits the palm print it'll change it to the hacker's colour, then anyone can interact with it.

Dam good fun was had last night. I played badly but glad I could let people know about some handy tips like alt tabbing and pressing Y. Heres to many more nights!

What does ALT+TAB do? I missed that.

It updates the blueprints for when the mole has knocked through a wall, it doesn't refresh in-game, which I guess is a thematic plus as they're supposed to be blueprints.

Still, you tell @bollockoff to alt+tab to reveal a mined through wall, he does, then you say "run straight across the top through the tunneled walls!" and instead he goes south through the portraits gallery and sets off every pressure pad alarm in the fucking universe.

Pressing Y to reveal other's line of sights was a fucking revelation though, would be nice if there was a hardcore mode that disabled it though, I felt a bit cheeky.

Thinking about it last night, it's quite absurdly rich in both visuals, sound design and just the general putting together of levels. I read bits and pieces that said he designed levels based on floor plans and aerial photography of real places in Monaco, and you can tell: the Casino feels like a Casino, the Bank in the Metro feels like a real place, planning your heist and adapting on the fly is brilliant. Part of me hungers for a more realistic game with slighty smarter AI, but the idiotic 'look at a guy, run to find him in a dead-end which only has a bush in oh he can't be there i'll run back to my post' AI serves its purpose perfectly, I can never quite tell if I like the slickness of an organised heist, or the chaos of foiled caper more, it's just so good.

One thing I do know: hacker 4 life. wysiwygbabe.

If I bought this and used my wired 360 pad , will the 360 mic work with it ?

Yes, but you have to use the 360 mic through Steam chat, but it's fairly simple. Like XBLA party chat really.

It wasnt until last night I played the game with headphones. It wasnt until then I realised just what an amazing job they did with it. Last night while Bollockoff was causing murder on the dancefloor, I hid behind a door. Music re acting to opening and shutting the door. I could hear where people were coming from before seeing them. And of course I could hear Mod knocking a load of guys out and taking a slash as we all wait in the stair well.

It wasn't until read that , that I didn't mind waiting for the xbla version but FUCK unless the 360 version is sorted and a release date is announced I'll be buying this tonight .

I'm guessing the 360 version won't have the Map editor either ?

Apparently the editor files will end up as .jpegs. All the info required in an easy to distribute image file.

How that will pan out on consoles I don't know.

As far as Im aware the XBLA wont be getting it. Could be wrong but thats what is flying around the forums and Twitter.

Ok bit slow on the uptake but 2 smoke bombs in quick succession resets the guards back to a curious state. Despite reading the wiki on secondary abilities, I still see myself forgetting. Just managed a clean run on scorpion and frog level. Only have 3 or 4 left to clean out then its onto the second act.

the main one at the top is the first act, Kind of like the main story. Act 2 missions are unlocked for every 2 act 1 levels you clean out. This act focuses more on the fallout of act 1 I think. Obviously act 2 is much harder as we found out last night.

It definitely looks like it loses something in single player... but it's still very pretty.

It takes a lot more planning and stealth in single player. By stealth I mean, know where to run and hide. Multiplayer is defiantly the way it should be played but solo is still as good but in a different way. I did the whole thing solo. I prefer multi for sure but for a challenge try and solo clean outs.

I have 4 levels that need a clean run on act 1 and ive yet to look at the 3 new act 2 levels I unlocked earlier. On the wiki it says there is a secret achievement for all 4 players playing the piano! Im gonna go see if its true and you can get your jam on.

Well that doesn't surprise me one bit! Im reading on tactics involving the red head, Some interesting ideas being chucked around. Like a red head/cleaner combo or using her as a scout and of course as a medic. Everyone agrees it takes skill and a good team to get maximum results. So maybe not one for us ha!!

Rather off topic but will help me play this. I connect my laptop upto my tv but the screen displays the same picture as the TV and is distracting , I've got Win 7 but can't find an option to change the display , is it laptop specific or somewhere on the display settings ?

The Gentleman's primary ability is that he is equipped with a permanent disguise, which is replenished completely when he is hidden from the sight of an NPC for 3 full seconds. The disguise has 6 ticks, as opposed to a full disguise tool, which has 24 ticks, thus is longer lasting.

on your laptop goto the display settings and you should get an option somewhere to have it display on just one screen. I only did it once. Now I just point the laptop screen away

Or, it'll be on the F* keys, you'll need to hold FN and press whatever F* key it is that corresponds to screen sharing.

Personally I find singleplayer quite dull but that could be because chaos isn't as enjoyable on your todd.
