We need a regularly updated list of who is getting/has got each console in the respective threads. I think I prefer the Xbox but with the next gen looking like you will get the best out of them online with friends so my mind will likely be made up if it turns out no one is buying one or the other.

I will add that, it would be nice if it was definite release day purchases and later date purchases. I can even cross-thread the results so it's easier to see.

With the complexity of these boxes, it's kind of mad to decide now. MS's cloud stuff could work, or at least provide rock solid MP. The faster memory of the PS4 could produce noticeable improvements from the off. One of them could be obviously winning in sales by spring. We could have panic measure price cuts very early.

I'm not saying that I won't buy one at launch, I hope I'm smarter though.

The fact the Xbox One isn't just about games is the other deciding factor for me so coupled with the better (imo) launch titles it is a no brainer for me though I would have preferred if it was cheaper!
