Hey phone photo peeps, what's the fastest way to get photos from phone to post, in gallery the share options are silly, none of them are simple weblink. Also getting photos back out of Facebook is silly hard from my phone

Good question, I'm guessing Photobucket, but I've never tried. I'll give it a go...
Edit: Please excuse the actual photo, it's all I've got on my phone (I took it to sell something).Â
Dead simple. Download the Photobucket app, create an account if you haven't already got one and follow the on screen instructions to upload a pic to your online album. Then press View links, tap the IMG link to copy, and just paste into your post.
some years ago I was seriously considering going freelance and living off my photography, I'd take photos of nature and peoples homes and cars and whatnot, and of course put millions of photos for sale on stock photo sites..
but then I woke up and smell the ramen, it was a silly dream, there are too many people taking pictures nowadays, and nobody admires true quality anymore, or at least doesn't want to pay real money for it
Cheers mate. Â Been out and about in Scotland on my motorbike the last few weeks with my camera. Â If you're remotely interested there's a load more on my thread/blog here.
Thanks man.  It's an inherited, outdated Olympus SP-510 UZ. Having looked about to see what the reviews said when it came out, it seems the best thing folk could say about it is that it could take loads of photos before the batteries went.  Which is true. Â
It does the job for me though. Â Fits in my tank bag beside my lunch and my juice and doesn't need any adjusting before I can use it. Â Wouldn't mind getting a better camera but I couldn't justify the price. I know fuck all about photography and simply point and shoot at nice scenery. Â This camera has loads of features I wont use and wouldn't really know how to if I wanted to anyway. Â A better, newer camera will just have more features that I can't use.
Pics look good enough to me. I've got a 5 year old bridge camera, 6 or 7MP, and it's still churning out great pics. And it takes AA batteries, which I think is win. I'm always losing the chargers for my newer cameras.
I've never been good at landscape photography (tend to prefer the portraits). Got any tips on how to take good shots? I kind of need them too as landscape is all I'm shooting these days on my cycling trip.
Not sure how you could ever tire of shooting Captain Beergut. Composition wise; rule of thirds maybe?
Skerret's posting is ok to trip balls to and read just to experience the ambience but don't expect any content. "I'm jealous of sucking major dick!"~ Kernowgaz
Get down low, make sure there's some foreground interest. If the sky is clear blue don't include loads of it, but if it's interesting - like Matt's last one up there - get lots of it in.
I like reflections.
Also, don't always shoot landscapes in, er, landscape format.
Look for patterns in the landscape. I love shots like this (nicked off the internet):
I tend to do thirds, yeah. I think I might need to change the height although that can be tough when riding a bike. I'll keep it in mind for the regular shots. I also think a proper camera with the right lens would help too.
Thanks for the tips. I think I favour the sky too much. I have some pics I could post but the internet is slow. Maybe later.
@MattyJ Instead of having the horizon cutting the picture so that it's half sky and half land you have it higher or lower. You can still get a creatively pleasant picture with half and half, but one third sky, two thirds land or vice versa usually gets more pleasing results.
