HVC/UM (Super Mario Bros. 3) Print - Avaialble 13/10/17

Hello all - as you may have seen in the Arkotype thread I’ve been working on a new print project called ‘Specimen’ which aims to visualise and deconstruct the graphic elements, iconography and patterns of various video games.
The first in the series is Super Mario Bros 3 - and the first part of the series will be a screen print which will be available to buy tomorrow evening - A specimen book and a set of pin badges will be produced later this year —

Haha - cheers Davy! To be honest I’d never really made the connection! I have a shortlist of future ‘versions’ but if be interested to hear if people have any games that jump out for them from a graphic / style perspective that might be a good fit for this project...

I did some ‘full colour’ variants but the 2 colour stuff works best - for each print I’ll be picking a colour that marries up with the game.
Also worth noting these will be printed with fluro red so it’ll be very punchy / vibrant. Hard to convey in a mock up! -
