It's the light gun games that are on my mind at the mo. I'm hoping to grab VR Worlds from Argos on my way home, mainly for London Heist, but I'll be all over Until Dawn: Rush of Blood at some point as the demo was superb.

Actually, it seems like you move around yourself in Firewall, rather than being on rails or static. Are there any good shooting gallery/rails shooter type games on PSN?

Eve: Gunjack is half price at £1.99 in the PSN sale just now and has favourable reviews. Anyone played it? I may give it a go at that price even though I'm merely borrowing the PSVR kit for the time being.
Rez: Infinite is half price too at £11.99. I'm very close to triple-dipping (aside from Area X) even though I found the demo rather underwhelming.
Interested to hear any thoughts about Polybius, but Thumper is my best experience so far: both £5.79. -
Eve Gunjack looks like the sort of thing I want. I'll let you know what it's like later.

Both Gunjack and Rez are games where you aim with your head, which I find a horrible way to play. Slower games can just about get away with it, but it sucks arse for anything action focused.
There are surprisingly few rails shooters available. In fact, Rush of Blood and American Dream are the only ones I can think of off the top of my head and American Dream sucks. -

Wow, that sounds ridiculous, eye tracking fine, head tracking far too wooly. Rails shooters, sin and punishment remake plox

Eye tracking to aim? Oh god no, that'd be even worse. The only way to aim is with your hands.

Send messageHmm, that sounds worrying. Certainly the amount that I had to look around in the Rez demo is partly what put me off buying it compared to Thumper. I don't know if I'd describe it as 'look to aim' exactly. -
I did t buy Gunjack in the end because Until Dawn was £8. Super hyped but too pissed now to wear a headset that's not mine.

Halfway through world 2 of Astro Bot. If the ingenuity and joy keep flowing this might be in with a shout for GotY. Videos don't do it justice, obviously, but I never would've guessed they'd be doing the experience this much of a disservice. Watching a couple of review vids before I got my hands/face on it I did find myself wondering 'it looks good but how good could it be really?'. Turns out it's good God good.

It’s the main reason I’m holding onto PSVR mainly based on AJ’s glowing reviews. Still haven’t played it.
