Glad to see Ireland at least make a good start. Turning over Scotland like that is no mean feat. Being ranked World No.1 makes me nervous. They tend not to live up to expectations. Always better as an underdog.
NZ v SA wasn't really determined. Closer than the score suggest. Ominous.
Argentina France was a good one. The Argies are up for it alright.

I got Scotland in the work sweepstake, so my interest level has already waned rather -
I caught a fair amount of France v Argentina and NZ v SA yesterday, both were great matches. England v Tonga was decent.
I slept in for the start of Scotland v Ireland, and because ITV Hub is a fucking joke, there was no way to watch from the beginning. Even after the game has ended there was no sign of it appearing on catch up, and about then I found out the score. I won’t bother watching.
Honestly, as someone without means to watch TV through an aerial, ITV having exclusive rights to the Rugby World Cup is a heart-breaker. They’re a fucking joke of a broadcaster, with an on-demand service to suit. They only stream in SD, and even then they struggle to maintain either the resolution or the frame rate. And, as I pointed out up there, no means to start a programme currently airing from the beginning, which is a nightmare for these early starts. -

Yeah i'ts infruriating, just so poor. I'm trying to watch as much as possible, difficult with the times! SA vs NZ was great. -

I’m a bit torn on this one. A lot of love for the Scots, family up there and stuff. But would love to see Japan get through.

I can’t see Scotland doing it tbh. The level they need to be above japan is way too high. If Japan get two more tries the whole thing is over anyway.

Scotland on the rack now. Hard to see them going through.
It means Japan win the group and Ireland have to face the all blacks in the last 8 but the joy of Japan getting through is compensation for me.
You have to beat the All Blacks to win a world cup so it doesn't really matter when you meet them. A year ago I'd have fancied Ireland but it's different now.Holding the wrong end of the stick since 2009. -
