Excessive shooting in 3rd person games that arent FPS's and dont have a "war" theme is more troubling. Yep im in that soapbox again, Mr Drake and Ms Croft you mass murderers.

Do you feel the normalisation of shooting people in ever realistic games is having an impact on you, your children, society? Will another genre over take it in the future?

7 of the 10 best-selling games of the decade were Call of Duty
GTAV unsurprisingly number one, RDR2 and Minecraft also in there. No numbers on Fortnite, cos you can’t buy it, though i’d hazard for revenue and times downloaded it’s feature in there.
These are just the games that the generalist audience play most, along with FIFA and so on.
Edit: giving up with the url tags, my phone won’t play ball

The uk list is a little different, dominated instead by FIFA. GTA V still top mind, with Minecraft at 3 and only 3 CoD games rounding it out.
