You made me click, so... what is this game about?
Survive an apocalypse on Earth in The Last of Us, a PlayStation 3-exclusive title by Naughty Dog (Uncharted, Jak & Daxter...). Here, you will find abandoned cities reclaimed by nature. Here is a population decimated by a modern plague. Here, there are only survivors killing each other for food, weapons, or whatever they can get their hands on. Here, you find no hope. Joel, a brutal survivor, and Ellie, a brave young teenage girl who is wise beyond her years, must work together if they hope to survive their journey across the US.

It's out worldwide 14th of June. If you bought God of War: Ascension a demo is available to you 2 weeks prior to launch.

They've only released 2 trailers, the announcement trailer and this one as far as I know, none of them shows any gameplay. As it's Naughty Dog, I think we can assume Uncharted 3 graphics, and then some. -
the 'livestock' reference reminds me of a movie I saw, but can't quite place it. I feel silly.

I usually hate pre-rendered videos but that one was decent. Nice use of Hank Williams, although the 'iconic country artist sings apocalyptic song 'o doom, here come the zombies' thing has already been done on screen. I guess that's the point, but still.

Dunno, I was looking for the new one and found that. I don't know what to make of it, the action seems scripted to me.

Looks lovely - apart from the yellow glowing ladders - but obviously the test will be when you're in control yourself. If those various attacks etc are all done with normal controls rather than QTE's then that'll be promising.
I trust Naughty Dog to get it right, although the glowing shit seemed unnecessary - Uncharted managed environmental puzzles OK without any glowing shit. -

The best attempt I can recall was Manny's attentive head movement's in Grim Fandango, but that's a completely different type of game. I'd also bring up Ico, because that waif chick did a good job of leading you around with a rather subtle rendition of dainty insipidity (like, dayum' bitch, RUN!), but again, that game doesn't look quite as dynamic as this one.
