The Premiership Guess Thread (Champion Sparky Edition)

So, the new premiership season kicks off soon and I was wondering if people would be willing to partake in a little game. I'll keep the rules simple.
1. guess the score of each game.
2. no cheating/editing.
3. all scores must be up at least a day before the first kickoff of the week.
4. You get a point for guessing each correct score, the forum member with the most correct scores at the end of the year wins. (No points for positions, unless someone wants to take in that responsibility, it'll be too complicated)
The winner or winners (maybe top 3 or 5) at the end of the year shall receive a prize - nothing fancy but I'll send ya something.
I'd appreciate a little help if/when certain games get moved. I'll try to keep on top of it all but cups can play havoc with schedules.
I'll also leave the rules open to change for a little while - if anyone has any suggestions, go ahead.
Other than that, get guessing. I'll post my scores up in a minute.

That's a fair point.
Do others wanna do that? I can pick 2/3/4 of games out of a hat each week?
Edit:
Because of the weekly nature of games it might be easier to keep track of than a relentless world cup. I'd be inclined to just do the lot - also means it can continue in my absence if I am away for a week. But if people do wanna cut it down, I'd go with it.

I predict a strong start to the thread, plenty of participation which slowly but surely dissipates as the weeks go by leaving only a handful of hardcore punters and The DJR trying to cheat his way to the top.
There will be at least two rule changes, but many more rule change requests that will be correctly ignored.
The task of organising this thing will change hands at least three times before the season is over. -

If it helps, I already do this with the missus - we managed a full season without breaks last year (we even had a little book where we'd write the scores down) so it's something that can be done, most weeks, without too much help.
All I need is for people to participate, stay honest, and maybe keep an eye on cups causing schedule changes.

I would love to take part but there are a few periods where I will be away for a month or so, so I probably wouldn't be able to post predictions for games in those periods.

I understand Goober. But, from my experience, getting even 1 or 2 exact scores each week is surprisingly tricky, so a few good weeks could see you safe for a top 5 finish even with some absences, who knows? Plus, you could always post your scores ahead of the games - the fixture list is online.
Think about it, the more the merrier. -

If so much as one of your scores match mine, at any point in the season, I'd not even notice and it will probably be a coincidence anyway.
It will be interesting to look at how many we can get right, even just the results, and rue the fact that we've not got money on it. -

The PE department at work do a weekly sweep where they all chuck a quid in and guess the scores, correct result 1 pt, correct score 3 pts (or something like that). Winner takes all. These days there's only about 5 of them that do it; a few months ago one of them got every single score correct. Won a fiver.iosGameCentre:T3hDaddy;

Yes. Points only for being entirely accurate. It makes things more unpredictable, simpler to keep track of and also means that, many weeks, you might get absolutely none right. Don't worry - another week you'll get 4. -
