I've been watching Next Gen recently, from the beginning. It's still amazing.
I hate JJ Abrams Adventures in Space though, unless the end of the third film ends with correcting the timeline. -

TNG was amazing. I still catch the odd episode now and again and they're just really well written and performed. Patrick Stuart is amazing. I see your point on JJ's reboot but I guess it's gots to be sexy for tha kids. I hate the Jbrams movie with a fiery passion, but oddly I'm kinda looking forward to the new one, now that they've got the ludicrous origin stuff out of the way it might not be so bad. However Orci & Kurtzman are still writing it so it will probably be shit, it certainly won't be Star Trek. -
TNG taster blu ray was brilliant can't wait to rerun them all in HD. I liked the new film wasn't classic star trek but it was good.

Send messageDS9 is my preferred flavour of Star Trek, closely followed by TNG. Garak for best Star Trek character ever, closely followed by Quark. Also Sisko was Space Shaft.
However while im here I will also say that the first 3 series of Lexx are fucking rad as all hell.

TNG was brilliant. Coming home from school and watching it with dinner at 6 on BBC 2...amazing. I think that's when it was on...certainly was great.I'm falling apart to songs about hips and hearts... -
Garak was only really good before the Obsidian order was destroyed, then he lost all his mystique and danger.
DS9's my fave for all the persistent character stuff. NG probably had the best episodes over all. Not sure which the worst one is.
Voyage Home is my favourite movie, just really fun, and such a unique concept. Undiscovered Country is my second fave. I almost think having watched them recently I like the original cast movies more than all the later ones. I used to like First Contact the most but didn't really like it seeing it again, this may have had something to do with me watching the Plinkett review. -
I met the guy who plays Q once. He wasn't very nice.
