Project CARS (or Community Assisted Racing Simulator) is an upcoming motorsport simulation video game developed by the British video game developer Slightly Mad Studios. It is scheduled to be released in May 2015 in the US and in Europe[3] for Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One, while the Wii U and SteamOS/Linux versions have been delayed to later in 2015

May the 8th. Still not sure about it myself, doesn't seem likely to get much of an on-line crowd from here on the Xbone. On the other hand, it might be the only sim that I need this gen. -

I am well up for this, I like nailing down track times etc.
Forza 5 (thanks Moto70) and Driveclub (thanks Bob) have both had/still have good time trial events on here so I'm hoping the same will happen for this.
Cross platform time trials on here could be excellent (has it been done before?) but what platform to go for?
PS4 has more P's but the Xbox pad is comfier and has the better feedback IMOLive, PSN & WiiU: Yippeekiyey -
The peas you won't miss unless you're a fanny boy and can see through the upscale and pixel count from six foot away. The rumble triggers you will miss, it cannot be overstated how much they add to the experience, especially with grip. I'm not sure about time trials when you can alter the settings of the cars. But certainly if enough people here want to have a bash and we can do cross platform on an even keel then it could be fun. I like to think I'm quite handy with the spanners.I like to think I'm a CAN DO kind of guy...

I'm interested in this, as I don't have a current gen racer at the moment, but does this have a proper single player career mode or is it more like Driveclub?Get schwifty. -
It is apparently all 'unlocked' and available from the start but presumably there's a career mode and events to progress through,
No traditional buying cars and racing for money though apparently.
