I think sufficiently standalone enough to be deserving of its own thread. Here we can get all gooey of eye and moist of knicker. It'll look and sound great I think is a given, I'm kerbing my hype levels because Frostbite and because DICE, but hopefully lessons have been learnt and progress has been made.

I played the OG ones but bots only. They were fun alright if a little souless against AI. The trailer looks great, but it's not really going to look that good is it on PS4. -
I do love my Star Wars spaceships. Speaking of which, it's criminal that the best Star Wars ship combat in the past 10 years is restricted to a friggin' board game. Especially with the success of EVE and Star Citizen, gimme a new space gaem ta.

Still makes it sound like it's a mod, but more than that.
Headline should be: Star Wars Battlefront isn't BF4, it's stand alone.

I'd hope they can launch a game without melting their servers by now and the 40 player limit seems sensible. Fuckong loved the battlefront games, it makes sense for dice to have a pop seeing as they were ripping off the old battlefield games.
